I’m often asked what sites are useful for learning more about social media E.g. Learning more about your potential audience and how they use social media and how to measure your presence. So I thought I would pop a few into a blog article. Hope this is helpful for you and if you have others that you find useful please let me know!
Useful sites for stats and insights
www.tnsdigitallife.com – useful in terms of how people use social media
http://www.forrester.com/home – great tools for understanding behaviours
http://www.cmo.com/cmo-news.html
Helpful Implementation Tools
www.hootsuite.com – great for teams using multiple social media sites and useful for being able to schedule posts
www.tweetdeck.com – great if you have more than one twitter account
There are lots of others such as Sprout and HubSpot. Would be great to hear what your favourites are.
Measurement Tools
The following are sites that are useful for benchmarking your activity:
http://tweetreach.com/ – measure how far your tweets go
www.marketinggrader.com – A hubspot tool that provides a ball park and helps you to think about how you can improve your website
And obviously, you should really be looking at your Google Analytics and Google Alerts! Let me know what your favourites are.
